Youth homeless questions

Human Rights   Oct 4, 2016 by jasmine

1. I think youth homelessness is such a big issue because a lot of the youth here in Edmonton don't feel accepted by their family for being who they are whether it's by style or their personal life.

2. I think that our school can help make youth homelessness less of an issue by talking more about it in school events and hosting fundraisers and  just creating more buzz on this issue.

3. I think that our school can do a lot of things to help homeless youth directly. We could volunteer at shelters, arrange meetings at the library  and  give the youth a bag of the basic supplies they would need to survive.

4. I think that making pages on social media websites about this issue and making it talked about a lot would help youth homelessness be less of an issue in our school and nation-wide.

5. We should spend it on giving each homeless youth a bag of all the supplies they would need. For example, water, food, clothing and medicine.

Thanks for your post Jasmine, I really like the idea of making Social Media pages...

Maybe you could actually get on that, make our group a Facebook and/or Instagram page, because in doing that we can spread the word faster about our cause.
